Tranforming Education

Atanu Dey is working on a project idea to re-engineer the whole system of education so that it is effective, efficient, and relevant to the world of today. After spending several years in US, working for corporates like HP and doing his PhD on the Indian telecommunications sector, he is now spending time in India to transform our education system.

He has his business plan ready and funding in place, and is now looking for suitable team members who are passionate about transforming education in India.

His criteria for selection will be those who can create value and who are interested in doing a good job, having fun, and make money (exactly in that order.)

I had the pleasure of meeting Atanu a few months back in Pune, he clearly is frustrated with the quality of education here which hardly provokes any thinking in students, but merely encourages them to memorize notes and clear exams.
It is great that he has committed to resolve this problem.
