The Free Software Movement, started about a quarter

Linux is the best thing to be taught to kids while they are into schools. Specially children between 5 to 18 years.

Whole world is facing problems due recession in IT field. IT
companies, IT professionals, IT students, share brokers, investors, IT
dependent services & industries are going through hard time.
Everywhere we can see cost cutting these days.

Before you answer this seemingly rhetoric question , ask yourself this : Do you understand the meaning of the word "FREE" in context with the term "Free Software" ?

From an unsatisfying personal experience I can tell you that most software engineers don't.

In brief, the "FREE" in software stands for "FREEDOM" and not for "free of cost". What this means is that, you have the Freedom to look at the source code of the software, modify it if you think you can enhance it any way, redistribute it to whoever your little heart desires. This redistribution can be free of cost OR...... YOU CAN CHARGE ANY AMOUNT YOU LIKE.

Is the title misleading? No it was not intentional but accidental that I came across a good study conducted by a company which uses this title while publishing their study. Here is the link to the article
