"India accounts for 65% and 46% of the global market in offshore IT & ITeS markets, however the unabated attrition rate continues to plague this sector. While the attrition rate has slowed down in the IT-ITeS sector to 25-30% in 2007 from 35-40% in 2006, the figure is still large in absolute terms. With the aid of legal strategies and putting in place the right legal infrastructure the problem could be curbed to some level and the high HR costs also could be reduced. Broadly, the discussion would cover legal issues employers seek to address at different stages of the HR process covering the hiring stage, exit stage, best practices for companies to follow and issues relating to cross border movement of employees. To shed light on all these aspects and to get critical learning’s and insights on the above issues, TiE Chennai is pleased to bring you Aarthi Sivananadh , Attorney of Universal Legal, Chennai (Affiliated to The Chugh) will speak on “LEGAL STRATEGIES TO COMBAT EMPLOYEE ATTRITION" |
