From Sept 7 to 9, 2008, I will be attending the "B-to-B World Conference" on B2B publishing / B2B media in New York City, USA. And, I am scheduled to be a speaker on "Technology and the C-Suite".
Technology still appears to be an intimidating issue for most print publishers across the world, may be outside India.
In the current age, technology companies like Google, Facebook, MySpace etc have become media companies, telecom companies have become media companies with mobile content, individuals themselves have become publishers through blogs... everybody seems to be becoming a publisher/media company.
And, traditional print publishers are nowhere to be seen in the new forms of publishing, which are completely driven by technology.
At the event in NY, I am going to speak on the importance of bridging the gap between CEOs and CTOs of publishing companies.
Let's see how it goes. May be, will end up generating some business too. :)
