Way back in 2001 end, when I interacted with Marc Fleury, the dynamic Founder of JBoss, I was having a fair idea about the destiny of JBoss.
A seven plus years journey for JBoss has not been a smooth ride in the early days of skepticism surrounding Java Open Source and J2EE certification issues.
Finally after much speculation about Oracle's possible new item in its long shopping list, JBoss made RedHat its new container!
Here is how JBoss would look like now on http://www.redhat.com/about/news/prarchive/2006/jboss.html
This also refreshed me with a couple of memories associated with my crush with JBoss.
Firstly, I remembered Dain Sundstrom who wrote the CMP 2.0 for JBoss and that according to me was the turning point for JBoss. Great job Dain! You deserve an applause.
Secondly, I also remembered of an unfulfilled task which I was upbeat about. "JXTA as an invoker in JBoss"

It's true that to be a noted artist you need to be on the stage and not off the stage. With my being in India, I have a slight feeling that I am missing to be on the stage (aka, USA) :-)
However, now that Samooha has come to some level despite all the cynicism about IT product innovation from India, I feel the days are not too far for me to create dual stage both in America and India!
Time to shut down my JBoss server for maintenance!
