Here's the 21st meeting of NCR companies on 9th March 2007 (Friday) on "Ensuring Global Collaborations Work - The cultural challenge of M&As, JV's and Corporate Partnerships" by Dr. Zareen Karani Araoz, President, Managing Across Cultures.

This session is for companies involved in global collaborations, be they Outsourcing ventures, Joint Ventures, Acquisitions or R&D Centers. The session will help identify some critical cultural pitfalls that can be avoided, to ensure the success of these operations and enhance productivity. It will help participants understand some of the challenges when partnering across borders, and address issues of Cultural Due Diligence and post-merger cultural integration, since it has been found that 80% of Acquisitions do not meet their financial targets in the first two years due to cultural challenges.
