Core : As the name suggests, core API is the backbone of jquery. It includes study of jquery function and jquery object and data accessors and their properties.

Attributes : Attributes are the properties associated with any HTML element. So attribute APIs deal with accessing any attribute, getting and setting attribute values and other related operations on attributes.

CSS : Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is w3c specifications for adding styles and designs to web pages. So CSS APIs deal with styling of pages like setting color, positioning of elements, setting height and width etc.

Selector : Selector include id or any element name ,hierarchy of elements, filters i.e. basic ( first, last, even, odd ), content filters, attribute filters, visibility filters and forms.
