This isn't a new topic; a whole bunch of really sad (read bad) films have already been made on popular games. Some disasters like BloodRayne, Doom, and Double Dragon have already been made and forgotten about, but I see some really good works in the process. Some really good film makers are going in to Game-to-Movie business, names like Zack Synder( Dawn of the Dead, 300), Jerry Bruckheimer (Remember the Titans, Black Hawk Down, Pirates of the Caribbean, Top Gun, the man's a genius), and Peter Jackson (The best film ever, same once more, and a third time.)
