Intel Notebook Launch and Oracle Open World

Events are a good barometer of the level of excitement in the industry, and there was no dearth of it at the 2 well organized events I attended over the last 2 days, Oracle Open World at NCPA, Nariman Point and Intel Centrino Duo Launch at Taj Lands end, Bandra.

Met a large flock of Oracle developers that came from all over India, Registrations had to be closed early due to over-booking of participants.

The Intel Centrino duo launch was a glamourous event with Shankar Mahadevan,Mandira Bedi and Saif Ali Khan entertaining the various chosen and invited IT enthusiasts.

It was good to meet some old friends and made a few good contacts at both the events. More update on both events to follow shortly.
