The Second International Conference on Web Engineering & Applications (ICWA2007) is the second conference in the series of ICWA conferences aims at bringing together the international community of researchers and developers from academia and industry in the field of Web Engineering research, practice and education, to share their experiences and to discuss recent and innovative results that may help them.

The conference looks into the technologies, methodologies, tools and techniques that are used to develop and maintain Web applications and to enable and improve the dissemination and use of Web-based content.

The main broad topics of the conference are

  • Web Engineering : Modeling and development of web-based Information Systems, including data management, hypermedia development, web software engineering, requirements capturing, analysis & modeling, design techniques, security & authentication, evaluation & metrics etc.

  • Web Applications : Domain specific research (e-commerce, education, business processes, etc, social and legal aspects (like copyright, privacy, accessibility, ethical issues).
