How Business Like Mginger will survive
Recently I was going through my email account and I found a very attractive referral offer by one of my friend Cyril. It was about a website Mginger that provides target specific messaging facility to its user on his cellphone and share the revenue with the recipient of the advertisement. if I am not wrong then it is the same business model which Google is following ;only platform has changed. Google is running its adsense program for websites. Any valid website publisher can get a publisher ID and can show target specific advertisement in his website .Only difference in two models is that here (Google Adsense) money is not passing to the end customer who is clicking on the flashy google advertisement but the money is shared between the Google and the publisher.

After CAT and IIFT – What Next?
BY My Mentor
Mr.Nagesh Banchhor PGDM IIMK
Director, Pro C Education Pvt. Ltd
While I am penning this article, we have witnessed CAT 2006 as well as IIFT 2006. Call it a coincidence or call it the trend, the patterns of both these newspapers were starkly different from that during the previous years. CAT came out with an even reduced question inventory to be handled by the students and flaunted the long term thumb rule of ‘four options per question’. IIFT, on the other hand, changed loyalty to multiple options type of questions, which made the paper very-very difficult altogether. These pattern changes were accompanied by changes in the nature of questions asked, brining the students to their knees – literally.
Why Only IT ?

Hello friends
I understand that it sounds quite uncomfortable to listen why IT but before understanding the topic I would like to apologize in advance to all those readers whom are not in consent with me.
Now days ask to any executive or consultant that what is the solution of any problem 99 percent of them would say IT. Does IT is becoming so strong that it can play the role of god in the society. Earlier society was much easier to live and cherish. now just take a simple example : A person not having a cell phone is treated as an awkward or rustic. even sometimes only having a cell phone wont work you must have a latest one. For an executive having a blackberry is must. IT companies are paying much higher than any other sectors and hiring in numerous amount so definitely it s becoming harder and harder for other sectors to get quality workforce. China is a manufacturing hub for decades but they also realized that they must be a service sector player also so they are improving in that point also but does India is also thinking on the same way ? It is really ridiculous that 60 percent of Indians (In agriculture sector) are generating hardly 20 percent of India’s revenue and 14 percent of people(IT sector) are contributing almost 51 percent. I never oppose the development but I oppose the unilateral development. Just think about a scenario : Currently we are getting 40-50 percent of IT and ITes business from US and 20-25 percent from European country tomorrow they pass a bill in their parliament that none of the IT services will be bought from India.(It has already happened In the time of Pokharan in 98 and after the 9/11 incident) then what will happen to our budding IT industry definitely millions of people whom are living a lavish life due to IT will come to the position of being starved and in current political situation it can occur to any time.

Quality A Buzzword

Quality a Buzzword
Quality in Daily Life
Quality has been an age-old concern: The discerning customer in shops and market-places has applied ‘quality techniques’,prodding and turning fruits and vegetables testing for firmness, freshness and fitness for the purpose of consumption. If the product was not adequate the purchase would not take place. In the hustle and bustle of cattle markets farmers argued and bartered over the fitness of animals for breeding, dairy farming or consumption, providing evidence for their case by inspection against criteria learned from their forefathers. Those shoppers and farmers passed on their knowledge to their children, and similarly it was passed on to their children’s children. I too learned the principles of inspection and learning from my mother as she scrutinized clothes and footwear, fruits and vegetables in our town market. Eager market traders would get short shrift from her if clothes had weak stitching, zips got stuck when zipping, fruits were marked and bruised or vegetables appeared old and unpalatable. The issue of quality of goods and services is not new. Throughout history society has demanded that providers of goods and services should meet their obligations. As long ago as 1700 BC King Hammurabi of Babylon introduced the concept of product quality and liability into the building industry of the time by declaring: …if a building falls into pieces and the owner is killed then the builder shall be put to death. If the owner’s children are killed then the builders’ children shall be put to death.
